Latest News

If any of you are part of the Facebook revolution, we have our own group set up. All you have to do is follow the link on the left hand side of this page and join. It gives you the opportunity to dicuss the event when you are not in the pub and give us the feedback we always love to hear. We have also created an event posting for the Manx.

Along with this website and our facebook capabilites we are able to broaden our search for new riders to experience this extremely popular event. We have already had a few new names to show some interest. Word of mouth is always a good way of spreading the word, so tell your mates!

Entries for the 2009 Manx National 2 Day Trial will be out aorund April time so keep you eyes peeled for updates or simply drop us a line if you would like a set of regs and an entry form. Remember, if you rode last year you will automatically receive an entry form and the supplementary regulations through the post.

Other News

Graham Jarvis (MRS Sherco) proved to be a cut above the competiton at this weekend's Manx National Two Day Trial. Losing a measly 8 marks for the two days, consisting of three dabs and a five, Graham was clear of second placed JST Gas Gas rider Dan Thorpe on 36 marks.

Top Manx Rider Barry Kinley completed the podium after a two year absence losing 43 marks, and the top six was completed by Miles Jones, Juan Knight and Nigel Crellin.

In the sidecars Jon Tuck/Matt Sparks made a successful debut by breaking the dominance of Robin Morewood and taking victory losing five marks. After a very close battle all weekend Robin/Gill Morewood finally accepted defeat and were placed second with Jamie Teare/ Jane Birchall completing the top three.

In the Solo Clubman class Darren Wasley took the win from Manx rider Wayne Wardell, with Jeremy Darlington finishing third.

Making up the bulk of the entry there were 205 finishers in the Clubman class, who despite a soaking on Saturday afternoon had a great weekend with the level of the sections seeming to be pitched just about right. Heavy rain overnight on Saturday made some of the sections on Sunday morning slippery and difficult but things improved during the afternoon run and most people finished with a smile and a free pint at the Villa Marina.
